The Associated Students of PLU (ASPLU) serves as the representative voice of students in promoting excellence in all aspects of PLU life. This association provides for active participation by all students through its committee structure. A demotion is a movement to a position with lesser responsibilities and/or a lower pay grade. Demotions may occur as a result of organizational realignments or performance difficulties among other possible reasons. If an employee is demoted, the circumstances of each case will be reviewed to ascertain the appropriate pay rate for the new job.
