Students are responsible for their own transportation between the university and clinical practice settings and are encouraged to carpool; however, the diversity of agencies makes private transportation essential. Transportation challenges are not acceptable reasons for clinical absences. Students are encouraged to have backup transportation plans should problems arise with their primary transportation.
