In the event of the death of a benefits eligible employee, (including faculty or staff), salary will be paid through the last day worked. An additional amount equal to one month’s salary (173.33 hours) will also be paid if death occurs before the commencement of the university’s long-term disability coverage. Final payment will also include any accrued vacation amount due per PLU’s vacation policy. This benefit is provided in addition to the life insurance program maintained by the university.

Concentration OptionsBy taking an approved set of electives (see concentration listings) beyond the 40 credit core, a student earns a concentration designation in one of the following: Accounting Finance Management Marketing Individualized Concentration Requirements Multiple concentrations are allowed 3.00 GPA required in the concentration area courses C- is the minimum acceptable grade in any business or concentration course A minimum of 12 semester hours of the total concentration

EligibilityIn order to be considered for admission to the International Honors Program students must be admitted to the University and complete a separate application form.  All independently motivated students interested in an interdisciplinary education are eligible to apply:  applications are evaluated as a whole. Students with a 3.6 GPA and higher are encouraged to apply. To be considered for admission to the International Honors Program, complete the IHON online application form

Awards InformationAwards 9-12 Grand Award: We do not yet know the structure for the International Science and Engineering Fair for 2022. Typically we send one or more top 9-12 projects to ISEF. We will post the plan for 2022 when we have more information. K-12 Awards: First, Second, Third and Honorable Mention receive a medal and a certificate. The lesson is an hour long and is an excellent opportunity to get to know the PLU horn studio and music facilities.
