The Lightener of the Stars Choir of the West – Richard Nance, Conductor Order CDfrom Garfield Book Company at PLUThis CD includes selections from the 2011 tour to France and Germany, where the choir won top honors at the prestigious Harmonie Festival. Also included are works from the 2012 tour and performance at the American Choral Directors Association Northwestern Division Conference. Paid Family Medical Leave ActStarting in 2020, Washington will be the fifth state in the nation to offer paid family and medical leave benefits to workers. This insurance program will allow workers to be paid a portion of their normal salary while taking up to 12 weeks of leave to care for a new child, recover from a serious illness or injury, take care of a relative, or for certain military events.
