Philosophy Minor:16 semester hours of approved philosophy courses; for transfer students, at least 8 hours must be taken at PLU. One of the classes is required to be an upper division course (300 or 400 level). Students considering a minor should discuss their personal goals with departmental faculty.

Minor in Hispanic Studies 20 semester hours beyond HISP 102, including: Language and Composition 4-12 semester hours of Spanish language and critical writing for second language or heritage learners. Students with prior background in Spanish should consult the Language Placement Guide for a recommendation on the appropriate level to start their studies.
