The School of Nursing maintains a nursing skills lab and a simulation lab on each campus. Students are scheduled for specific laboratory times to practice those skills taught in the curriculum. Skill acquisition requires hands-on practice and students are expected to use these times to achieve skill competency. The Art of the BookThe Art of the Book I is a studio art course in the historical, aesthetic, and creative dimensions of book design and typography. The class is conducted in PLU’s own Elliott Press.
