The major and minor in Hispanic Studies combine the study of the Spanish language with courses in Latin American, Latino, and Iberian literatures, linguistics, and cultural studies. land.” This exhibit also highlights articles that speak to how land acknowledgements have been used, what they communicate, and what they don’t say. Language, oral and written, is key to culture transmission and retention. language from her twelve years of Chinese language education in diverse international academic institutions during which she has worked at Kyung Hee University in South Korea (2012-2015), University of Puget Sound (2015-2018), University of Washington (2018-2019) in the United States, and Sichuan University in China (2019-2024). Prof. Yu’s research interests include Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language, Educational Technologies and Innovation, and Language Contact.
