He is the recipient of a Fulbright Scholarship from the Netherlands-America Commission for Educational Exchange. He holds the teaching and performance degrees from the Stedelijk Conservatorium in Arnhem, The Netherlands, where he studied organ with Bert Matter and harpsichord with Cees Rosenhart.
