, Pacific Lutheran University seniors Hailey Olafson and James Van Alstine presented their mathematics research at the Joint Mathematics Meetings in San Antonio, Texas. He is currently engaged in a project on a Telemark ski race. His publications, both in English and Norwegian, have appeared in the International Review for the Sociology of Sport, International Journal of Applied Sports and Science, Sport, Education and Society, and Sport in Society.
