N-Aryl- and N-alkyl-N′-hydroxyureas were readily converted to heterodienophiles upon oxidation under copper(II) aerobic catalysis. The in situ hetero-Diels-Alder reactions of these carbamoyl nitroso species with acyclic 1,3-butadienes, and
