Currently she is working as a project manager for Ford Motor Credit. She met her future husband when she was working as a sales representative for Ford in a territory that included Minot, N.D., where Tom Krise was working for the U.S. Air Force. Indonesian woman she met in Taiwan named Watini who was her grandmother’s caretaker for eight years.   “I felt closer to her than my other family,” Beeson says. “We both bonded over trying to learn Mandarin. Watini’s story inspired me. She had to leave her whole family to fund healthcare for both parents, who had cancer.
