Rainier, hiking anywhere from three to 15 miles to their research area, collecting a sample before bed, then getting up at 3 a.m. to take water samples, and begin the hike to another glacier for more samples before turning in for the night. October 22, 2012 Care for the world, service to mankind By Chris Albert Brian Bradshaw ’07 was walking down the stairs of his residence hall when he saw a young woman crying in the lobby. She had a bad day and it had destroyed her in that moment. Bradshaw was planning on going skiing that day. He stopped to talk to her and after listening said, “Come with me.” The young woman responded, “But you’re going skiing?” He said, “Yeah and you’re coming with me.” They spent the day on the slopes and

While most of campus was still asleep Saturday morning, Hundtofte and a group of 10 other students snuck away from campus to escape the stress of finals and enjoy a day in the snow. “If I hadn’t done this, I would have just studied in the library all day,” Hundtofte said.
