As a co-leader of Harmony at PLU, Brewer participated heavily in raising awareness around LGBTQ issues both on campus and beyond. She also worked as one of the Diversity Center’s first LGBTQ peer advisors. Brewer — who identifies as a pansexual queer female — discovered her sexuality while at PLU.
