Summer REU-INFEWS Program Posted by: alemanem / November 21, 2019 November 21, 2019 For students interested in Research Experiences this NSF-REU program focuses upon Innovations at the Nexus of Food, Energy and Water Security (INFEWS) with emphasis on biofuels, biochars and clean water treatment.  This ten-week program provides $500 per week stipend, free housing/travel and meal stipend.  Program dates are from June 2nd 2020 through August 6th 2020 at Mississippi State University.  See the REU

July 7, 2008 College: First in family Maurice Eckstein was riding home in a cab after his shift as the night concierge at a hotel in his native Trinidad last year, when his eye stopped on an advertisement. It offered local students a chance to mix with a group of visiting PLU students in an exchange program between PLU and the University of the West Indies. A lucky few would get a chance to study at PLU on a full-ride scholarship. A long-held dream of being the first in his family to complete a

enrollment grew tremendously at PLU. Multiple attempts were made throughout the 2000s to revive the facility. However, since 2016, it has been closed to residents and has continued to fall into disrepair. Foss Hall is the home of many cherished stories and memories. The Office of Alumni and Student Engagement, in partnership with University Archives, is creating an online exhibit space that details the rich history of Foss Hall and provides a space for alumni to share funny anecdotes and heartwarming

cabinets, almost every component has been replaced. The new system is completely digital. This means that we have much more flexibility and reliability in both these spaces. In the old analog systems, troubleshooting and our ability to expand the system was a nightmare. The new systems also manage the resolution of input devices much more uniformly. 500-foot Chihuly Glass Bridge links the Museum of Glass with the Washington State History Museum and the nearby Tacoma Art Museum.
