Holy Week in Guatemala Campus Ministry is taking a group of seven students to Antigua Guatemala for Holy Week. “It gives us the opportunity to experience Holy week in Antiqua,” Reverend Dennis Sepper said. credit hours of physical education, including the mandatory P.E. 100, which covers the basics of health and exercise. It is important to lead a fit and balanced life, of course, but what works for any given individual varies widely—which is one reason PLU offers such a wide range of P.E. options. As a second-semester senior, I have completed all of my P.E. requirements by now. While I’ve been a student, I have taken Sailing, Scuba Diving and Yoga. 1950. In 1955 she graduated in nursing from Pacific Lutheran College (now PLU) and Emanuel Hospital in Portland. After college graduation Karen served as a nurse in her hometown. She then worked at Swedish Hospital in Seattle before helping to open the new University of Washington Medical Center in 1959. She was its first nurse and worked there for 30 years in clinical nursing and as head of the outpatient clinics for heart, cancer, Alzheimer’s and AIDS patients. After retirement, Karen moved back

Williams has made more than a dozen trips to Mexico over the last four years to volunteer at a local center for severely disabled children called Sol y Luna.
