“A Queer History of PLU” follows the experiences of four queer PLU community members and three of their allies.Many of these stories begin in the 1990s, a decade that, for queer Lutes, was symbolically ushered in by the joint decision of two professors—Beth Kraig and Tom Campbell—to come out of the closet in The Mast in 1993. . The undergraduate program qualifies students for the Bachelor of Science in nursing degree and certifies them eligible to sit for the registered nurse licensure exam (NCLEX-RN). Business Education has always been a fundamental aspect of Pacific Lutheran University. In 1898, the year of the first graduation, the institution changed its name to Pacific Lutheran Academy and Business College to best reflect its academic focus. The first graduation consisted of two female students, one from the Academy and the other from the Business College. Throughout the history of Pacific Lutheran University, the business programs have upheld their quality and commitment to education
