PLU COMMUNITY GARDENThe PLU Community Garden is a community gather, learning, and growing space with a goal of increasing access to fresh produce and flowers in the Parkland community.  Our garden is cared for by the Center for Diversity, Justice, and Sustainability staff and student leaders who work alongside community volunteers to plant, harvest, and maintain the grounds.  We look forward to connecting with you in the garden soon! Frequently Asked QuestionsAdmission ClassificationsWhat is a non-matriculated student?Undergraduate and graduate non-matriculated students are classified as attending PLU part-time for a maximum of nine semester hours*, but not officially admitted to the university or to a graduate-level degree program.  Exceptions to this rule will be considered on a case by case basis and must receive approval from the Provost.  These students are required to submit a Summer Sessions Registration Request form

Full-time and Part-time Status Revised January 2011 Full-time employees are those who are scheduled to work 2,080 hours per year (52 x 40 hours per week for most employees) with an allowance for vacation and holidays. Part-time employees are those whose work schedule calls for anything less than 2,080 hours. Undergraduate Programs at PLU The Bachelor of Science in Nursing programs are designed for students who are not licensed nurses. We offer a traditional BSN located at PLU’s main campus in Tacoma, and the Accelerated BSN program in Lynnwood for students with a minimum of 60 non-nursing college credits .
