Our HistoryThe University Scholars Association was founded in 1972 by Dr. Curtis Huber (philosophy), Dr. William Hutcheon (business), Charles Nelson (registrar), Dr. Richard Jungkuntz (provost), and Dr. Tony Lauer (business). The association purchased a house located across the street from PLU. The homeowner they bought it from was a PLU faculty member, Cap Jacobs (physics). Join us for 12 Gifts of Christmas. For 12 days this holiday season we will share performances of new musical works recorded this fall, performances from recent Christmas Concerts and personal
. Public events of this magnitude were not allowed in Washington. In this year of change, our annual Christmas celebration became PLU’s 12 Gifts of Christmas and featured short artistic vignettes distributed on consecutive days in December. These gifts were shared via email and social media, and posted on our Christmas Concert website. They included musical works recorded this fall, performances from recent Christmas Concerts, and personal reflections from our students and faculty. These were our gifts

A History of Jazz Under The Stars Jazz Under the Stars—two decades of great jazz concerts at Pacific Lutheran University.
