Susan Palo Cherwien is an international leader in creating lyrics suffused with the imagery of the earth, its diverse creatures, and seasons. A musician, poet, and hymn writer, her many texts appear in collections in the United States, Canada, and Europe. With an undergraduate degree from Wittenberg University, she also holds the Abschlussprüfung in voice from the Hochschule der Künste Berlin, and a Master of Liberal Studies from Mundelein College. April 4, 2008 Diverse music, dance styles mark Dance 2008 A vibrant and dynamic series of performances marked PLU’s Dance 2008 in Eastvold Auditorium. The night’s program featured students, alumna and faculty choreographers, and a guest choreographer.
