May 18, 2012 School of Business extends its AACSB accreditation PLU’s School of Business has extended its accreditation for its undergraduate and graduate programs from The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). In addition to extending the School of Business’s accreditation for another five years, the AACSB’s peer review team also commended the school for a variety of strengths and effective practices. Kurt Mayer Kurt and Pam Mayer first supported PLU through their friendship with Dr. Richard Moe and his wife. February 5, 2013 PLU top placer in the Peace Corps This year, Pacific Lutheran University ranks No.18 on Peace Corps’ 2013 Top Colleges for small schools. The annual list recognizes the highest volunteer-producing colleges and universities for small, medium, large and graduate institutions. There are currently 15 undergraduate alumni from PLU serving overseas. Last year PLU produced only 9 volunteers, and by doubling their number this year they have joined the top 25 volunteer-producing schools
