Troy Storfjell is a member of the Sámi community, the only indigenous group in Norway that’s been historically marginalized. It’s why Storfjell, who passes as white in the U.S.
in Norway, and a group that has long been discriminated against in Norwegian culture. Efforts were undertaken in the mid-1800s to exterminate their language and way of life. Effective February 15, 2023, the Master of Science in Kinesiology program is put on hiatus in order to reevaluate the program’s design and future prospects. This means that we are not accepting new students to the program for summer 2023 and future terms until further notice.
