Early in her career, she discovered a passion for empowering patients through education, leading her to pursue a role as an FNP in primary care, where she could provide guidance and support to her patients. While working at Shoreline Community College, Dr. Woo found great joy in mentoring and inspiring future nurses. Her clinical

worked in the nonprofit sector building relationships with community members and organizations. Her main responsibilities included raising philanthropic support for health and education resources – including scholarships for PLU students! Alicia returned to PLU to earn a Master’s degree in Nursing. As a registered nurse Alicia has experience working in cardiology, critical care, and corrections.
