Contributors Claudia Berguson Claudia Berguson joined the faculty of PLU in 2003. She is an associate professor in the Department of Languages and Literatures. Her primary areas of teaching in Nordic studies are migration literature, folklore, gender and equality, and Norwegian language. Calendar Obituaries Kim Nesselquist Kim Nesselquist, Norwegian Consul, died December 7, 2018 in Seattle, after being diagnosed with renal cancer in March. He was born in Fredrikstad, Norway and grew up in Nesbyen, Norway. He traveled abroad to study at PLU in 1980, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in political science.
