Students who bring guests onto campus and to PLU events are responsible for informing their guest(s) of conduct appropriate to the university. PLU students may be held responsible for the conduct of the guest(s) during the visit, and may be subject to conduct proceedings if their guest is in violation of a campus policy.

To reduce the risk of injury to employees and students, the university prohibits the possession of weapons on campus premises, in university vehicles, at any university-sponsored events off-campus. Creation of University Diversity Committee approved by the Faculty. This standing committee, responsible for oversight of the diversity effort, is supplemented by the Diversity Committee for Cultural and Educational Programming.
