PLU RingersDirected by Dr. Linda MillerPLU Ringers is a chamber ensemble open to all students. We ring handbells and handchimes. This group can often be heard in concerts around Christmas time, and presents a spring concert as well. Reading music is an asset, but not a requirement for membership in the group. Forgotten Nordics: Ethnic Diversity and National Narratives This exhibit opened in the Scandinavian Cultural Center on January 13, 2016 and explored a multitude of identities and national narratives in the Nordic region through time and provides a nuanced historic perspective of what it means to be Nordic. Starting with the Viking Age and Viking identities, a large array of potential local, ethnic, and diverse identities began to be forgotten in favor of national and supra-national identities
