Rehearsals for the universally popular classic began in January and since then Marzano has been leaving campus right after Choir of the West practice to head up to Seattle. Jeanette Dorner ’94 Ecosystem and Salmon Recovery Director, Puget Sound Partnership Biography Biography Jeanette Dorner, a lifetime resident of the Pacific Northwest, received degrees in Earth Sciences and Environmental Studies at PLU in 1994. She then spent a year in India on a Fulbright scholarship studying the water quality of the Yamuna River, the largest tributary to the Ganges. September 17, 2010 Lute Spirit! By Chris Albert This fall, there’s something new roaming the sidelines at PLU sports events. PLU’s new mascot – the Knight. It’s actually a bit of a blast from the past too. Meet the new PLU mascot – the knight. The Lutes were once called the Knights in the 1970s and 80s. The teams now are still the Lutes, but the mascot is the Knight. The mascot will be part of the cheer squad and help rally Lutes in the stands to cheer on their fellow student athletes. Plans
