Studying away with the goal of expanding your language skills is best done overseas!
A piece of advice to future study away students:
Set goals for what you want to see, do, or improve for yourself while you are away from PLU before you leave for your trip.
What surprised her about studying away:
People want to help you learn your language wherever you are. Even if it’s not a language that is your goal to improve on, everyone is there to support you while you are traveling.
