Fulbright U.S. Student Program

Scholarships and Fellowships

There are many national and international grants and awards for undergraduates and recent alumni to support and further their education. Typically these are external scholarships and fellowships funded by governments and private foundations.

The Fulbright U.S. Program is PLU’s most popular post-graduation fellowship.

Most of the scholarships and fellowships listed on this page are for opportunities after graduation. To find information on funding sources to help with the cost of studying away while enrolled at PLU, visit the Study Away Scholarship page.

Employers and graduate schools recognize these scholarships and fellowships as unique leadership, networking and skill building opportunities.

A description of scholarships and fellowships available to PLU students and alumni is available online.

Specific internal and external scholarship opportunities are available for School of Nursing students. Contact the School of Nursing (nurs@plu.edu) for more information.

Contact PLU’s Office of Alumni and Student Connections (alumni@plu.edu) for information about short-term post-graduate service or work opportunities (e.g. Peace Corps, AmeriCorps, Lutheran Volunteer Corps).
