The Artist Mentoring Program was active in the Parkland community for many years, but fell by the wayside when previous student leadership graduated. Harris was encouraged to revitalize the program by PLU faculty members she met with throughout the past year. And, on Saturday afternoon, PLU Athletics will welcome service members and their families to the 3rd Annual PLU Military Appreciation Football Game. Wednesday’s Veterans Day Celebration will be held at 10:30 a.m. in Lagerquist Concert Hall in the Mary Baker Russell Music Center. A talented improviser and dedicated educator, Kate has lived in Washington since 2010. She has collaborated with many jazz groups and also performs with her own projects, KO SOLO and KO ELECTRIC. International performances permeate Kate’s resume, as do appearances with a variety of well-known musicians
