Hildegard is the first of very few female composers widely studied in music history, composer Ingrid Stolzel is from the same region in Germany, and consortium of 50+ schools was assembled to contribute to this project. The commission was a collaboration between PLU music and Pierce College professor/director Kaitlin Bove.
