Polymers for Use as a Lithium-Ion Electrolyte Support Doug Smith, Capstone Senior Seminar The syntheses and characterization of novel, ethylene oxide functionalized oxanorbornene dicarboximide monomers and polymers are reported. Ethylene oxide (EO) side chains were of lengths n = 8, 12. Polymers were synthesized via the ring-opening metathesis polymerization (ROMP).
