Orchestra, Tallahassee Symphony, Oakland Symphony, Santa Rosa Symphony, Modesto Symphony and more. She is an educator at Pacific Lutheran University and the Seattle Youth Symphony Orchestra’s Marrowstone Music Festival. She has performed with the prestigious Aspen Summer Music Festival’s various orchestras, and was showcased in concert with The Lancaster Festival as a Wilkes Fellow. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, painting, and training her cats to use “talking” buttons.

Lecturer - Oboe | Music | myerssd@plu.edu | 253-535-7602 | Shelly Myers currently serves as Lecturer of oboe at Pacific Lutheran University and holds the second oboe position in the Olympia Symphony Orchestra.
member of the Cavell Trio (along with clarinetist Osiris Molina, and bassoonist Jenny Mann), she recorded three albums on the Blue Griffin record label. Shelly’s life in Seattle also includes personal training/fitness instructing, time in the mountains hiking/skiing, and spending time with her husband Mike, and their son Seth.
