Broadcast Education Association’s (BEA) Festival of Media Arts Competition, and also earned the Rising Star Award in the Canada International Film Festival. Senior Producer Amanda Brasgalla ’15 is grateful for the recognition the film is receiving. “It’s an international competition, and we beat out a lot of big broadcasting schools,” Brasgalla said. “Every award we receive shows a huge appreciation of our work.” Waste Not was made entirely by students over more than a year.
