All Washington schools of nursing are required to have clearance verification on students prior to participation in clinical experiences. The School of Nursing maintains a nursing skills lab and a simulation lab on each campus. Students are scheduled for specific laboratory times to practice those skills taught in the curriculum. Skill acquisition requires hands-on practice and students are expected to use these times to achieve skill competency. Open laboratory times are available for individual practice and study.
