All faculty and nursing students at PLU School of Nursing are held to this code of ethics “for carrying out nursing responsibilities in a manner consistent with quality in nursing care and the ethical obligations of the profession” (ANA, 2014)

The School of Nursing maintains a nursing skills lab and a simulation lab on each campus. Students are scheduled for specific laboratory times to practice those skills taught in the curriculum. Skill acquisition requires hands-on practice and students are expected to use these times to achieve skill competency. Open laboratory times are available for individual practice and study.
