Scholarship Fund was established by family, friends and former students to provide scholarship awards to outstanding chemistry students. Dr. Ramstad founded the chemistry department at Pacific Lutheran University, teaching from 1925-1960. Emma began PLU’s work with alumni. The first scholarship was awarded in 1984. Medieval composer/mystic Hildegard von Bingen. It is profound for many reasons. Hildegard is the first of very few female composers widely studied in music history, composer Ingrid Stolzel is from the same region in Germany, and consortium of 50+ schools was assembled to contribute to this project. He said it takes approximately 18 hours to make seven headpieces, and about three days to hand-stitch one costume. After staying home the entire week of Spring Break, Ragoonanan has reached his goal of completing all the costumes he needs for his dance, which will be showcased in the April 11-12 Dance Concert 2014
