Herein, we observed single, tumor reactive CD8+ T cells isolated from 6 cancer patients who were undergoing ICIs therapy. We studied gene expression, finding biologically interesting gene, expression patterns that are associated with CD8+ T cell exhaustion and effector function to probe the immune response to treatment with a goal to improve clinical trials and patient care.
