My career into MFT was a winding one: I worked briefly as a registered nurse before looking into medical family therapy and completing my masters and doctoral degrees in MFT. Some of my current professional interests include working with couples and parents of young children, spirituality in therapy, and development of contextually-sensitive and socially-just pedagogy. In my spare time, I like to garden and I am a serious sports fan. My favorite sport is baseball. I currently live in Puyallup but I have also lived in Tacoma, Los Angeles, California and Boston, Massachusetts. I am a member of the WAMFT (Washington Association of Marriage and Family Therapy), and an AAMFT Approved Supervisor.

PLU RingersDirected by Dr. Linda MillerPLU Ringers is a chamber ensemble open to all students. We ring handbells and handchimes. This group can often be heard in concerts around Christmas time, and presents a spring concert as well. Reading music is an asset, but not a requirement for membership in the group.
