PLU Concert BandUnder the direction of Dr. Ron GerhardsteinThe PLU Concert Band is a non-auditioned ensemble made up of PLU students in all areas and disciplines of the university as well members from the PLU community. ChoraleThe Pacific Lutheran University Chorale is a mixed choir comprised primarily—though not exclusively—of freshmen and sophomore singers spanning a variety of academic disciplines. The choir meets four days a week for a ninety-minute rehearsal and sings many times each year in concerts, tours, and campus ministry events. The choir tours regionally and appears on PLU Christmas compact discs and streaming platforms. The Chorale has recently performed for conferences of the Washington Music
