the University of Washington in 2010-2011. During this fellowship, Rahanna did an internship at NOAA’s Office of Coastal Resource Management in Washington DC and at the Department of Ecology, Bellevue, Wash. She has been conducting research on coastal ecosystems, particularly mangrove forests and seagrass beds for the past 15 years. She has a number of publications, and in 2010 she published a book on Wetlands of Trinidad and Tobago. Rahanna is leading an effort to development an Integrated

professor of political science at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim from 1994-2004. He was special advisor to the Royal Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 1998-99, and is a member of numerous scientific boards, national and international. He is an elected member of the Royal Norwegian Society of Sciences and letters, and of the International Academy of Regional Development and Cooperation in Russia. Presently, he is the vice-president of the Norwegian Academy of

his teaching and his research attempt to understand Christian ideas and practices within their original context. He teaches courses in early and medieval Christian history. His research examines the development of early Christian doctrines regarding the Trinity, Christ, and the Holy Spirit with special attention to Jewish and philosophical influences.
