Erik, as a saxophone professor, obviously loves music for saxophone. His dream was to record an album of modern chamber music for saxophone featuring composers from the Pacific Northwest area. He is a member of the Dave Matthews Band, a 3X Grammy winner, and was a 14-year member of Béla Fleck and the Flecktones. He also fronts his own band, Jeff Coffin and the Mu’tet.
