On September 12, 2019, the 2019-20 Cohort of the American Business Culture Program took a tour of downtown Tacoma, visiting the Farmer’s Market, taking the bus and light rail for the first time, and learning a little about the city. They were then split into three teams and given a list of 8 categories, with the directions to take 1 photo for each category. The team with the most fun and creative photos would win a rice maker. Angenette originally came to PLU in 2018 as the Parkland Education Initiative Coordinator while serving as an AmeriCorps VISTA at the Center for Community Engagement and Service. In 2019, she joined the Center for Professional Continuing Education as a Program Coordinator in the Center for Continued Nursing Learning, and then transitioned while still in GPCE to Program Manager, working on programs such as Summer Sessions, IPP, and several professional development offerings through Continuing Education
